The Mountaineering Club of North Wales is a long established club, set just off the A5 west of Capel Curig. The view from the front door of the Hut is of Tryfan and Y Garn. We cater for people with an interest in hill walking, scrambling and there are also a few members
that are keen on climbing. All members are very welcoming with an excellent knowledge of hill walking in Snowdonia’s National Park. The club has currently about 100 members, with a wide range of ages and background, so there should always be someone to walk with to meet your abilities. The hut is available all year round therefore offering a range of activities in all seasons. If you don’t feel like walking after a strenuous day or the weather is too nasty, there are plenty of places visit, or you could just sit at the hut and admire the outstanding views.
